About Julia
Julia, a Chicopee, Massachusetts native, remains deeply connected to her community and continues to reside there. Before joining Egan, Flanagan, and Cohen, P.C. as a Litigation Associate, she practiced municipal defense litigation and during law school she gained additional experience in real estate law while working at a local firm.
Committed to public service and community engagement, Julia has served on the Chicopee Zoning Board of Appeals since August 2021. She has also volunteered as a legal mentor through Discovering Justice’s Mock Trial and Mock Appeal Programs at STEM Middle Academy, where she led weekly sessions and helped students prepare for presentations held in Federal District Court.
Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Political Science from Western New England University, graduating a semester early in February 2021. During her undergraduate career, she received the Skookum Award in recognition of her leadership, academic achievement, and service to the university community.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law, graduating in the top 25% of her class. While in law school, she received CALI Awards in Criminal Law and Income Tax, served on the Student Bar Association, and chaired the Social Committee. Julia remains actively connected to the law school community, including participating in its Annual Basketball Tournament as an alumna.
Julia is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Outside of her legal practice, Julia enjoys hiking local trails and running. She completed a half marathon in Maine in June 2025 and values spending time with her family, including cheering on the New York Knicks with her brother.
