Vanessa Martinez is an attorney known for zealously advocating for her clients. She grew up in Springfield and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield.
While at WNEU, she participated in the Criminal Law Clinic as a Student Assistant District Attorney and interned at the Hampden County Superior. During the clinic, she handled misdemeanor and felony cases. Prior to becoming an attorney, Vanessa was a paralegal for over 14 years, focusing in the areas of Real Estate and Personal Injury.
Vanessa now practices in the areas of Real Estate, representing buyers, sellers and lenders in residential, commercial and asset transactions; Personal Injury, representing claimants and defendants in tort matters, including personal injury cases; Business Law, representing clients before local, state and administrative boards and panels; and Criminal Defense, defending those accused in misdemeanor and/or felony cases in the District Court.
She has been recognized for her volunteer services in the District Court, is currently an Adjunct Professor at Elms College in Chicopee and a frequent presenter at various First Time Homebuyer Seminars held throughout Western Massachusetts.
